another clear cut choice. Another player that prolly would have gotten a lot more acclaim on other teams.

Keeping the uni # link on this page if others wanna jump in.

looking at that... Wayne Gandy has to be one of my top 10 least liked Saints of all time. Had a fricking recliner in the locker room and Haslett was good with that.

I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER? professional, in our Mandeville, La. branch, that strives to help my clients plan for their financial future with strategies to build and preserve wealth. I assist each client in selecting appropriate investments based upon thier individual needs, goals and objectives.

After graduating from Williamsville South high school in Buffalo N.Y. I attended the University of Virginia on a football scholarship where I earned undergraduate and graduate degrees. In 1986, after my graduation I was selected by the New Orleans Saints with the 6th overall selection in the National Football League draft.

After my retirement from the NFL I entered the financial services industry. I quickly realized that to be succeful in either profession you need to have defensive as well as offensive strategies. In investing "offense" refers to market conditions where we can create wealth while "defense" refers to market conditions where wealth preservation is paramount. I utilize a disciplined relative strength methodology to help guide me when to play offense or defense.

Most people are already familiar with the concept of relative strength through their exposure to the BCS ranking of college football teams or the world golf ranking. Additionally I use this relative strength strategy to determine what areas of the market are showing strength as well as weakness. I prefer to be invested in the strong areas while avioding the weak areas.

I invite you to take advantage of my unique experiences, my knowledge and my credentials to help you and your family achieve your vision of the future by scheduling an appointment today.

His son played for the Mandeville Skippers. I remember when he was graduating a year or two ago and a bunch of people wanted to sign him. I don't think he was ever much of a recruit though.

Wayne Gandy

All he was ever good for was at least one penalty per game. It was like clockwork every week.

A 2nd round pick (44th overall) out of Ohio State, #65 LaCharles Bentley. Played and started 57 games for the Saints before leaving in free agency to go home to the Browns. He hurt his knee during training camp that year and had 4 surgeries and then got a staph infection and never played again. He made two pro bowls while playing in NOLA. Once in 2003 as a guard and once in 2005 as a center.

Two Dome Patrolers back to back. Nice!!!

3rd round pick for the Saints in 1986 from Georgia Tech. Played 7 years before going to Detroit and then Oakland. Started 89 games for the Saints and had 76.5 sacks, 354 tackles, 3 interceptions and 1 touchdown for us.
He made the Pro Bowl from 1989-1993, was all pro in 1991 & 1992 and was the AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1991.
