I'm looking for some good Cottage Cheese recipes and foods to eat with it

Right now, I just have cottage cheese and sliced strawberries on a sandwich. lettuce, cottage cheese, tuna, and Italian dressing on a salad, and cottage cheese and yogurt. I'm looking to eat 1 cup of cottage cheese a night, but just can't stand eating it alone

I like it by itself, personally. But I've also added diced jalapeno and have even put chopped bacon in it with a little salt and pepper.

I either eat mine mixed with tuna and hot sauce or with walnuts and a drizzle of honey.

I also enjoy cottage cheese with a healthy bit of fresh cracked black pepper

One of the best macaroni & cheese dishes I ever had had cottage cheese in it.

You are a tad stupid if you actually think it is nasty. What do you think is one of the cheeses in lasagna? To the first poster just go with any fruit(fresh or canned) a bit of pepper lends a bit of piquancy to the dish

Casein bro....casein. It's probably cheaper over the long haul, tastes better, less fat, and waaayyy less sodium.

Cottage cheese with a little cracked pepper and sliced tomatoes fresh outta the garden.
I also use it in lasagna if I'm not in a ricotta mood. Sometimes mix it with ricotta. Or just as a melting/binding cheese in dishes with a lot of cheese in it (i.e. Mac and cheese).

Hey shite-for-brains, I'm entitled to my own tastes in food- it doesn't make me "a tad stupid." Also, shite-for-brains, the cheese in lasagna is ricotta, which has a finer texture than cottage cheese. Cottage cheese's lumpy texture is one of the things I don't like about it.

I'm sure there are variations, but damned if I've had it with cottage cheese.
