exactly...we were on a "bama-like NFL draft roll" before bama knew what that was. Next year will just be a continuation of that, except likely better than average which says a lot.

I think SFP's actually a Bama fan... or something, maybe he is an LSU fan...

Add Faulk, Mathieu, and Logan

OL are hard to project unless you know the guy is a fraek. we haven't put many (any?) OL in the first 2 rounds in the modern LSU era

i really doubt tyrann goes in the first. i could be wrong

logan? depends on what he does this year

bama has sent 4, 1st rounders 2 years in a row. LSU hasn't done that in its modern era. we had 4 in 2007 and typically have 1-2

Number one recruiting classes every single year will do this

Look at our number 1 (2 on some) recruiting class of 09

Randle
Montgomery
Faulk
Mingo
Brockers
Claiborne

If randle would've come back he wouldve been agood bet for first round. That would be 6 first rounders out of that 09 class

slow down

i'm not saying he can't go in the 1st, but he's far from a lock

reid also. i think he'll be 1st round, but his workouts may disappoint (like randle)

Only locks are Sam and Mingo. High probability of about 4 others

Reid
TM
Faulk
Mett

yeah i posted teh otehrs to try and get to 4

keke is almost assuredly a lock, as long as he's over 6-3 and 240 lbs (assuming similar/better production)

sam could theoretically slide, depending on height/weight/workouts, but i think he's pretty safe to call a lock

all the people pimping faulk need to remember they sound just like all the people pimping ci black a few years ago. LSU has a very bad history of getting its OL drafted highly. we always celebrate our OL before the season and then they don't get drafted near where we project them.

TM7...short, not a blazer, and needs to work on man coverage. a team could fall in love with him (esp if he runs a blazing 40)

reid: not a valuable position. great football player who i think will transition, but i don't know if he'll be a "wow" athlete to get hype. plus he may not leave. if the media starts to publicly suck his dick like they did barron, he'll be all but a lock

do people really think ford is going to get drafted in the 1st round? do you also think he'll be able to get 1,000 yards rushing and play a prototypical RB role? also, i think he's a great player and our best overall RB, but i'm not going to proclaim he'll work out well. i hope he does, but with our history...

logan is kind of like faulk. i think he's a fan favorite and we want him to go in the first. he could go, but we have to let the year play out before we say he is a 1st rounder. he wasn't last year

I agree. Not only are more teams moving away from using their first picks to take a RB, but our RB-by committee approach to the running game doesn't get him the media hype that backs at other schools get from being a "feature" back. Not saying that he won't get picked up early on in the draft, but first round seems out of the question.

Just imagine if Randle had come back for another year. Also, does anyone think Shep could have been a better DB than WR? Still Possible if so?

i think Reid will measure out to be a damn good athlete for his size.

and i love Sam, but its hard to say he is a lock. i think he is closer to a fringe late 1st early 2nd round type guy. Unless he wrecks shite this season.

And Faulk is hard to project. People thought Ciron Black was a 1st rounder at one point. I'll reserve judgement until that day comes.

yeah i agree

OL are hard to project in general, but those draft sights are pretty bad with them, especially a year out. that's basically what LSU fans are basing their opinion on

i hope he can get a bunch of picks and get barron-like hype. i still cant believe how stupid the bucs are
