A true hard core LSU fan and he will be missed.
I remember years ago logging into his site near daily when he first started his site.
LSU news was hard to come by in those days and he tried his best to pass on what he could.

Had the opportunity to meet Mr. Long on couple of occasions, most recent at Nat'l signing day in B.R. on Feb. 1. A great man and he will be missed. May God Bless the Long family.

Very sad news, RIP old friend. He was a GREAT Tiger and he will be missed. Bless his family and friends and I hope they can find comfort in this time.

That's the truth. I remember my first year after I graduated...I was in Washington D.C. finishing up an internship in late '99 and struggling to find good info on my beloved Tigers. A guy I worked with, also an LSU alum told me about Don's site. From that day, Dandydon.com has been the first website I visit in the morning.
He was a great Tiger.
Dandy Don...you will be missed.
