I dont know if this has been mentioned yet, but Zachary is currently protesting their ban from playoffs. Any chances they will get their appeal and get to play?

They got banned from playoffs for getting in a fight. There were 3 other teams that were involved with fights also but were allowed to play in the playoffs.

i dont know much about the story but from what i read they probably deserve the ban.

Truth is all schools deserve the bans. But since only one was banned they should all be allowed to play. It is unfair punishment for Zachary to have to sit out but the others can play

Teurlings Catholic(team they had the fight with)
West Monroe and I don't know the other and my only thing is that they should have banned the other team they fault only because they had fans fighting the kids on the field "supposively"

No way IMHO.
That school has consistently been trouble makers. TCHS was allowed back in because they PROVED they were not the instigator. One can safely deduce that Zachary was the instigator. Not sure how they would allow Zachary back in.

The reason the WM fight was not as bad is because it was only between players. The Zachary and Teurlings fight involved fans coaches and players

Well I guess all we can do is wait and see......but in this scenario how can LHSAA go off of Zachary's "history" when some of their players weren't involved in those in the past?

Because it is pretty well known that the coaching staff pretty much promotes this type of behavior.

I agree completely with you! Do you thin that this would be a wake up call for their coaching now that a serious action has been taken in response? I'm neutral here I just wanted the rants opinion

I would be willing to bet that the coaching staff has been told to "tone it down."
The other team in the WM fight was Pineville, and that fight happened the weekend after the ZHS/TCHS fight.
