OBers,
One those new silverado model they have that upper glove compartment piece of shite. Well, my latch is broke along with a coupe of my buddies. Has this happen to anyone elses. From my research online it doesnt look like it a very common problem with other people. Maybe we are the minority but its a terrible design and it firgured it has happened to more people than just us.
Any help on how to fix other than ordering new $150 glove compartment would be appreciated.

BTW if you have a 5.3, the first thing they said when I brought mine in is the lifters and cam needs replacing on the 07 and 08's.
Still didnt fix mine so it got new rings and we shall see. Not holding my breath. Thank the good Lord for the 100K drive train warranty

What year model. BTW, this isnt like for 6.0's. Its not in the majority but I know of 3 people who have had oil issues. If you have someone change your oil and never check the level before a change, chances are you will not know. Usually less than a quart, which is what it takes to get the low oil light.

Nah...no issues for mine. It's pretty far out of the way of anything that could hit it.
How did it break?
