i gave in and moved my fricking sliders for hitting. I started out hot and was batting in the mid .300's. Then all of a sudden, i couldn't buy a hit and my average fell to .189. frick that.

I've come to the conclusion that the slump thing is going to happen whenever the computer decides it should. my CFer started out the year really hot, was batting .400+ then went on a 10-12 game slump and the average evened out about .285. It doesn't matter if you guess the correct pitch/location and time your swing perfectly, sometimes you'll just always fail...it's maddening.

I literally have to force myself not to swing at a ball unless I have the correct pitch + location guessed. If I don't do that, I'm sure to strike out about 1 in 4 at bats. I still can't take walks to save my life though.
