This is exactly how great athletic programs are built. Hire a puppet for cheap and let the money men, former coaches, etc. meddle in the affairs.

Absolutely 100% on the money...unfortunately. I hope all those motherfrickers die before Miles retires, because if they are around to do this in the next football coaching search...well, I don't want to think about it.

Are you implying that maybe it wasn't Miles who loved JJ, it could have been some one rich booster?
