Ray Price
George Jones
Jim Reeves
Ernest Tubb

Oh, and George Strait is #1 by about any objective measure.

George Strait is a good one, but compared to Waylon, I think he just gets beaten out. Waylon just had the perfect voice for country. Not heavy on the twang, but could tell exactly where he was from. But, I don't think even Tennessee could match Texas in country. It's pretty damn close, but I'm from Texas therefore it is the best bar-none and no I will not listen to fact.
