Tier One pond bait is a simple chartreuse curl tail jig on a 1/16th oz jig head. Slow or fast retreive depending on what the fish want.

It looks like something that would be good over hydrilla in big lakes. I plan to try one next spring.

Not the Revo, its the internal brakes. If not set right, all reels suck.

I have them set pretty well for the one on my weightless rod, like I said, I can cast them but I have to hum it and it's not very accurate, because I can't pitch it where I want. I think I have 2 of the braking pins clicked out on that one right now, opposite of each other.

I would try it with all of them in. That would get rid of all of the brake. Im not trying to say your doing it wrong, I just know I have both reels and they work fine for that. Would have to open them to check the setting though.

I'll try it. I did that for a little before but then I went on a windy day and it totally fricked me up throwing that light bait

Wind will def frick you up. It will get anyone. I add a split shot about 12" above the bait on windy days.

At my parents' pond when it was clear, I've had good results with a motoroil worm by zoom.
