7'0" Yugoslavian dude = Zoran Jovanavich. He was buds with Ricky Blanton but injured himself in a pickup game prior to the 1986 season. Went home instead of sticking it out. Once Nikita Wilson was ruled academically ineligible it left Blanton, a 6'6" small forward who didn't dunk, as the center. It was incredible watching him during the tournament scoring double figures (mostly inside) against John Salley, William Bedford and Pervis Ellison.
