The two images you've juxtaposed actually look nothing alike.

Again, they look infinitely more similar than what is down there now. Have any of you even see what the south endzone looks like from the outside?

proportions that are entirely off.

For now. I am not convinced that we wont eventually do the same to the NEZ, oaks or not. The plan, or was at one point, is to create a giant plaza and close off the road between the PMAC and TS. I also wouldn't put it past them to eventually tear down both of the sideline uppers (AGAIN) and follow a similar style as the SEZ. If they eventually utilize the space labeled "Future" on the designs for Gameday suites/condos/hotel, that would be a HUGE influx of money, without changing the footprint of the stadium and would be, as far as I am aware, unique to LSU.

I like the fact that it looks like one singular stadium between the lower bowl and the upper deck piece. I really like that all of the access ramps are housed internally or they tie into existing ramps on the east and west upper.

It isn't for everyone but I think it is a sincere attempt to capture the look of the NEZ, while creating a modern flexible space. There are issues I have with parts of it, and hopefully those can be tweaked as they get some of the public feed back, but overall I am satisfied. No matter what they put in the SEZ, they were not going to please everyone, as evident by this thread.
