You have to use Yurden to trap the arms one at a time and hack it off, when you get three down, you ride the last one and hack hit, the ground glows where you can trap an arm, then when you are thrown off run to the left side and up the downed rubble to finish it. duck and roll is your friend, after an arm comes off the fricker will strike a lot for a few seconds. it's the hardest fight in the game and they put it in chapter 1, go figure. the ground

The Witcher 1 EE was only 9.99 on steam so I picked it up. Usually playing the 2nd game before the first makes the first suck. Who has played 1 and what are your thoughts?

I freaking love this game. I'm not very far into it (just killed La Vallatte and met the Scoi'atel) but this game is even better than skyrim so far.

It's a constant struggle to decide whether or not I want to play this or minecraft

In the unpatched, non-enhanced edition of the first game, the hellhound at the end of chapter 1 was by far the hardest fight in the game. I think I killed it with about 2 hp left.

I think the first game still holds up well. I replayed it a year ago and I enjoyed it. It held my interest enough to finish it again.
