There has to be more than 3 of us here playing.

This board jizzed itself for skyrim and this game is better (imo fwiw)

Anyways, carson, how are you developing your char? I think after I get riposte I'll go into magic signs. Igni, aard, defense, and paralyze are too good. I like my range.

last night got ambushed by a pack of downers and immediately died... Positioning is key. I try to dodge often.

I agree it is more fun than skyrim. I just earned riposte. I'm playing on hard, but im finally getting the hang of it. It's amazing how much you have to change up your strategy for different opponents. Using a combination of different signs, bombs, daggers, and sword strokes and then defending with parry, rolls, and blocks it is very enjoyable.

From what I've seen so far, I agree. The world is so much better and more realistic, combat is MILES AHEAD (doesn't feel like your beating a stuffed animal). Loading times are way better. Game looks better and not nearly as cartoonish.

Most importantly, though, every quest has a personal feel to me. In Skyrim. some quests are obviously there as fetch quests for xp and rewards. Every quest I've played so far (all the sidequests in Flotsam) is very well thought out.

2 pts in Hardiness, 2 in Parrying, 2 in vigor regen, 1 in dagger throwing, 1 in Fortitude, 1 in Aard Sign, 1 in riposte, 1 in footwork. I doubt I'll mess with Alchemy too much
