Had a great day in Nola today

Me n the fiancée went to the zoo this morning, followed by some small plates at cochon, then walked the quarter, boondock for a few beers, pat o's for Lil piano bar, and bourbon Orleans for oysters. Everything was great. Bourbon Orleans was average. Wanted to tale her to Dickie brenans steakhouse but they weren't open lunch. Capped it off with snowballs from hansens. Life is good.

Sounds like quite a day. I wish my guy did stuff like that! The only thing that could make that better would be to stay the night at either the Monteleone or Roosevelt... I know it's spring break and they've got great pools! I'll have to share this with my man.

pretty much did the same thing on sunday. ran the crescent city saturday morn, got shitfaced the rest of the day and ate at Rio Mar for dinner. Pretty sure it was good, but i was pretty toasty by dinner. Got up sunday morn, enjoyed the nice weather and a bloody mary. Went to magazine, ate at C'est La Vie Bistro then hit the zoo. Didn't have snowballs, but had ice cream...
