Pretentious much? People eat the crawfish crepe because its delicious. I could careless what restaurant made it, its good so i eat it.

Not saying it's not good, but it's not, IMO, the best thing there, and if people limit themselves to foods and restaurants with high reputations, they are limiting themselves. Lots of great foods to be had elsewhere.

In fact, I'm feeling quite adventuresome as I head out this morning. I may do the "Restaurants No NOLA Food Snob Would Try Tour" today. Ralph&Kacoo's, Hard Rock, Bubba Gump, ba bam! I may yet find my diamond in the rough.

I ignored the crepes at 1st b/c it was Muriel's. Not that it's a bad thing but I eat at Muriel's more than most other places in the FQ mainly b/c of its location. I like trying new things from new places, but after hearing all the talk about the crepes I gave them a try and I'll get more this weekend.
