I do wonder if it would mean different beers becoming available here. They seem to be pretty vertically integrated in distribution. I think 100% of their products are brought in from their own distribution. They aren't getting serviced by the chip guy or the beer guy. They must buy in bulk and stock their DCs.
Could this bypass some of the silly beer distribution limitations in this state?

No, but they have their own brands of beer, so I'm sure we would get those through normal distribution means.

No. Most of the problems are the distributors, not the stores. Smaller craft breweries have to make an agreement with a distibutor which costs them money. So the brewer just stays, where its cheaper to get out there beer. Also, as in the case of dogfish head, they don't expand their distributive area do to satisfying demand with existing markets first. They just can't make enough beer to expand to louisiana. They have trouble filling orders in their preexisting markets due to demand.
