In other words, if they hadn't thrown a bunch of money at Calipari they would have had a bunch of mediocre basketball.
This should be a lesson for LSU, if Nick Saban wasn't.

And if there are a bunch of nostalgic sycophants pumping JJ, then it's okay to bash him in order to prevent disappointment.
