i'm probably one of the older jamband fans on the board. 18 dead shows, 50+ phish and panic shows and ton of smaller bands over the years,ie moe, Leftover Salmon, SCI, Bisco, etc.
I listen to Jam On on XM from time to time, but nothing is really grabbing me these days. I still listen to a lot of older shows and even a new one every now and then. Maybe my tastes have evolved? not sure.
Who are some of the really good new bands stretching it out these days?

No one is really "stretching it out" imo unless you go into the whole "jamtronica" scene (btw I hate that term and really don't enjoy the music). I mainly listen to all the bands you just listed although I'm still a fan of their current shows. Minus Moe. that is, I enjoy some of their songs but have always found their shows to be extremely lacking.
I really like North Mississippi All Stars.
