Every year Central High School (Like every single aspect of Central as a city) is drummed up as a legitimate contender is 5A football, and every year, they get beaten by the first inner city team they face in the playoffs, and they unload their starters to Division 1-AA teams and community colleges.
Central as a whole is a community of overpaid narcissists whom cannot accept their status as the crossroads between EBR, Denham, and Baker.

The Triplett guy looks to be dangerous. He could have had alot more TD's if he would have used his blockers. Could just be that his is a sophmore.

WOW, tell us how you really feel about Central?

What's wrong with the name Myer? I here the kid has a chance.

He does. Very good athlete. He is a good QB and turned into a dangerous weapon receiving late last season as a sophomore. I fully expect Central to go deep in the playoffs this season. They have 3 kids running a low 4.4 on offense. A name to watch out for is Justin Vessels (Sophomore rb that is extremelyyyy dangerous!!) I watched their practice the other day and he looks better than ever. He's very close to 6'0" and he weighed in at 189 and he ran a 4.4 flat. Only freshman to make Central's powercat team in the history of powercat and is in the 100 percentile in every category. His only downfall is his attitude. He's quit the team once already and quit Central's middle school team 3 times. If he keeps his head right I'd expect 15-20 TD's from him on top of what Triplett and Gales produce. Very fast and dangerous offense this year

I know, at one point last year I think he was ready to quit football all together.

Updated video for Triplett coming. Will be getting rid of the spot shadow and music. Also, every player listed has received D1 interest letters this spring. Don't know each specific one but know they all got some interest.

Triplett's highlights are pretty impressive..kid's got good shake. I've never seen so many clips go uncalled on punt returns though..good Lord.

I don't mean to sound like a jerk but 3 kids running a low 4.4? Pretty sure less than 1% of people ran that at the NFL Combine this year I mean Mo Claiborne ran a 4.5

Hand times boss. I don't think anyone would expect central to have laser timers for their 40 yd dashes. Watch Gary's and Devon's highlights and you won't see them get caught often. Vessels will resemble it next year as well.
Side note: LSU listed 4 players running in the 4.2 range on their annual strength and conditioning release 2 years ago and then none ran a 4.2 at the combine except PP7, might have ran 4.29 at combine, so they are never 100% accurate

Will any these guys go to a BCS conference school?

I kinda lol'ed at the homerism of this thread at first. Here's my 2 cents:
I worked the CHS scrimmage about a month ago and was very impressed at their offense. Was one of the best looking offenses I've seen for a spring game (keep in mind they were playing their first team D). QB made some big time throws. I know it's a small body of work, but I have high expectations of their offense based on that game

I was there too. Offense need to work on ball security and try to beef up the line in the summer workouts. So many play makers though
Defensive backfield seems much more talented than last year but Central will probably take a step back in the front 6.

100% agree. There biggest question mark will be how young guys step into the defensive positions that graduated. Breaux Bridge had 2 track stars and were a very dangerous offense. This team has 3 track stars. We shall see if it all plays out the way most think it will
