You don't have to buy it, but I wouldn't put it anywhere near the top because the game meant more than just the final score.
I consider Ark 2007 somewhat similar as I was crushed at the time, but we got a mulligan. Therefore, I still don't like thinking about the loss, but in a grander scheme it holds very little weight.

We didn't get a mulligan, we were the SEC champs and had as good or better resume than every other major 2-loss team.
Plus, true mulligans are reserved for Bama.
