Music board yet still no tech talk board?

Geez.
There are always 5 threads on page one of the OT and to a lesser extent on the Money Board tech related and yet Music gets a new board?
A tech talk board would be very active. For God's sake, there is a soccer board.

I just randomly looked and on the OT, 5 of the 20 threads on page 1 are directly tech related as I type this. 1 of 4 threads.

Then you haven't looked. I try and stay up on all things tech, not just apple by a long shot.

A science/technology board would have dualistic utility in that it would not only be a place to discuss the latest in scitech, but it would be an ideal place where individuals could pose tech questions to a selective audience.

I've been here 7 years and non sports related boards usually are born out of the OT when threads show up with a particular frequency regarding a particular area of interest.
It is obvious due to the number of tech related threads that show up on the OT constantly that there is enough there to give tech and science a board. I know Chicken can't have a board for every niche, but it seems clear that a tech talk board would be a great addition and would get great traffic.

This appellation would deter most individuals, though, since it doesn't contain "tech" in the name.
And there aren't nearly enough religion threads generated to warrant a board containing "Religion" in its name.
I think "Science/Technology" or simply "Scitech" would be the most apt titles for such a board. It could harbor the philosophical threads, as well as the monthly threads discussing evolution, abiogenesis, and creation. And the few posts that are purely religious, or have political implications, could be kept either on PT or the OT, as they are now.
But tech posts would make up a solid ~70% of the posts, so it should probably be included in the title of the board.
