Coming from bayou decade you run across lake Paige into eagle lake and into goose bay. The cut bt eagle lake and goose bay is deep but once you get into goose bay it gets shallow fast. Get on plane in the cut and haul arse across. Never a good idea to run across there on a north wind low tide day. Seent a many of people high n dry. If you are running the raccourci from bayou decade just follow the white pipes across. Never had any issues. That lake is only a couple feet deep anyway. Like topwater said... You can catch some decent fish on top this time of year (anywhere, not just mechant). I'm ready for em to move offshore... This bass spawn was early this year

So say I wanted to get out to Mardi Gras or Coon Point, I assume you just go through Mechant into Caillou Lake and out through Grand Bayou Dularge? Just looking at google maps here, lol.
