SIAP - And yeah it was when he was with the Redskins.

quote:

CBS Washington - Gregg Williams reportedly put a $15,000 bounty on Brad Johnson before a Monday Night Football game when he was the defensive coordinator for the Redskins.

Johnson was with the Vikings and had a bad relationship with Dan Snyder.

“Gregg came in and dropped $15,000 on the (table) and said, ‘Brad Johnson doesn’t finish this game. This is Wednesday and the money will go up later in the week. It could double or triple by the end of the week,’ “one of the players recalled. “A couple of guys kinda got excited. (Defensive line coach) Greg Blache said, ‘If you get fined, it will be taken care of.’

Direct quotes from players isn't enough evidence for Goodell to do anything

All right.

The redskins probably stopped the bounties when Goodell told them to.
