Wow, I figured it was kind of expensive, but not that much. Do they not have a discounted rate and different interface for retail investors? I don't know what I'd do with out cap iq. Out of curiosity what makes Bloomberg better (or why do they charge more)? More real time stuff?

Bberg is nice but $30k/year. I have bberg and factset and love it but $70k/year+

I don't know but I kind of doubt it. Bberg's interface is pretty ugly if you ask me, but the level of detail they have on everything is unreal.
