I'm thinking a jerk ribeye
Probably served with some vegetables
I can cook a ribeye, just never done one jerk style. Anyone have any experience or pointers?

Make the seasoning mix yourself, I've been trying all jerk seasonings I see in stores for years and they are all terrible.
It's been years ago, but I did the jerk ribeye recipe from Aaron Mccargo (think that's his name) the black dude who won next food network star a few years back. It came out pretty good, give food network a search for it

Base ingredients are habanero / scotch bonnet, allspice, cinnamon. Can add mango and such as well. What I use for chicken follows:
8-10 green onion bottoms (white part)
1" / 2 T ginger
3 cloves garlic
2 habanero
Juice from one lime
1/4 cup veg oil
1 T allspice
1/4 T cinnamon
1/2 t thyme
1 t salt
1 t pepper
Make paste in food pro. T = tbsp; t = tsp.

Go to Food Network's site and search for the Bobby Flay Jerk recipe/marinade for steak. It's a great change up from the normal prep. It is damn good for a grilled steak. Trust me.

Thanks for the info. My husband has been wanting jerk chicken but the premixed marinade type stuff is awful. I am going to try this soon. Good Idea Powerman!

Man with over 100 thousand posts can't cook a steak. You must be nervous.

I think you missed the point.
