Fired at Indiana, Fired at UAB, think he'll end up with another job?

UAB basketball coach Mike Davis was fired after spending six seasons as the program's head coach.
Davis was fired on Friday morning during a meeting with UAB athletics director Brian Mackin. Davis was 122-73 at the school and put together four consecutive seasons with at least 20 regular seasons win the first time in school history. He led his team to the Conference USA regular season title and a trip to the NCAA Tournament in 2010-11.
Davis, whose final team finished 15-16, has one year remaining on a guaranteed contract that pays him $625,000 annually.
The school will hold a press conference today to talk about the decision.

so he's pretty cheap, has a great record at a crappy school, and had a bad year one season removed from taking UA-fricking-B to the tourney. sounds like a good firing to me.

nobody to blame but himself. Look what Mike Anderson did there after Little Murry. Davis was lazy, wouldn't recruit and whined and sounded like his FEMA check was late. Horrible PR skills.

Umm look at what UAB did before Mike Davis got there. He deserved to be fired.

UAB has a excellent pedigree in Basketball.
only 4 losing seasons in it's history (1978-now).
Davis has two of those 4 seasons on his credit.
