Looking to take my son and one of his friends out tomorrow to catch some fish. Any type of fish will do to keep them having fun. I havent been out yet this year so It's a total guess for me as to where to go. Anyone know of some bream, catfish, sacacrappies biting?

baton rouge. I was thinking verrett/cracker head. Or maybe False River to see if the catfish were on yet. I couldnt remember what time of the year that was. I think its getting close.

If you're bank fishing, go to the Waddill Wildlife place off of N. Flannery. It is loaded with bream.
If you're going by boat, the Spillway has been pretty good lately.

And then all the rain (muddy water runoff) we had all week is going to be going down belle river and the verret system

I said "has been."

I like the middle section. Usually launch at Belle River Public Landing or Adams and fish around Shell Cuts, southfork/middlefork.

Any Verrett reports? All has been quiet in my neck of the woods. Not like I have any time to go anyway.

This is extremely difficult to do. Worms are more than capable of extracting oxygen from water. It could potentially take months to drown an earthworm.
Good Luck!
