Thanks. I can't believe that I have to wait until august before they will do anything....actually I can believe it, got to love Louisiana.

You can call the downtown Acessor's office. I was in a similar situation. The guy I talked to was real nice. They had the value of my house about 40k more than it should have been. He did some research and agreed. The changes have to go through the state tax commission I believe. Btw I did this last October and recieved the changes mid-January.
