In that article in the paper it said that there were more LSU fans in Nashville for our women's team then there were for the men's team in NOLA. We have some terrible fair weather fans that won't show up just because " Trent sucks" and " LSU on their chest isn't enough". Our year wasn't as bad as many make it seem.

Make the fans turn out.

And if we would have somehow won the game, the crowd would have been great on Saturday.

Fans gave up on the team halfway into this season. No surprise about the following yesterday against the #1 ranked team in the country that also beat us by 24 at home 2 weeks ago. The game was on a Friday afternoon and the team played like T total shite the last 3 games of the season.

Disappointing is the past 4 years performance of the Men's basketball program.

but they have to win more games for people to spend money on traveling to a venue like that.

We had 18 wins this year and had an outstanding turn-around season compared to the past few seasons. The comment about spending money doesn't seem to make any sense.

and I should show up, costing myself revenue

If you are a true LSU basketball fan you would have been there. Maybe you aren't and that's fine. But I'm almost positive that if LSU went 8-5 in a football season and shite the bed the final 3 games you would've shown up in New Orleans for a bowl game.

Most LSU fans just don't have the same love and passion for basketball as they do football and baseball. It sucks for the players but that's the way it is.

I'm sure many of those Kentucky fans had class and work yesterday. Instead, basketball is a priority to them and they made it one.

Apparently fans who live 80 miles away, it is not.
It's hard to justify paying the prices a Kentucky draws to go watch a mediocre team likely to get destroyed.

You must be a dipshit college student that thinks the world revolves around any LSU function there is at the time. People that work for a living and have families to support don't drop everything they have going on to go support a team that has no chance to win. They had a great effort yesterday, but no one in their right mind thought for one second that LSU would win that game or even keep it close for that matter. Saying a true LSU fan would have been there is assanine.

"It was very disappointing"

Well Anthony, so was the season and in particular the last 4 regular season games. Had the team won at least 2 of those the turnout would have been much better.

so I guess LSU has all of 15 true basketball fans

You fine sir are a idiot of the highest degree. Congrats on that

Maybe you aren't and that's fine.

Nah I grew up when LSU basketball meant something and had forward progress with a coach who made LSU basektball matter

now if you want to be a fan of moral victories and such knock yourself out.

I'm almost positive that if LSU went 8-5 in a football season and shite the bed the final 3 games you would've shown up.

I would watch on TV just like I DVR'ed the two basketball games locally and watched after the fact

IMO no player or coach should be questioning LSU fans on their committment. This university is as well supported as almost any in the nation. If people don't support a certain program by showing up then maybe they are attempting to send the powers that be a message
