I don't dislike Randall at all...I don't even know him nor does anyone else here. We also have no idea how he'll play. What I dislike is the fear that this COULD turn into another JJ/Lee debacle. I think we've all had quite enough of that for many, many years.
I also don't like this whole "added dimension" of the offense crap that everyone likes to spew about mobile QBs. The fact of the matter is pocket passers are better as a whole and there is no getting around it. We do not NEED to have a QB who can run a 4.5 40. It's a different game but Brees, Brady, and Manning seem to do fine without that ability and I would take one of them any day of the week over a "mobile" QB.
There's also the issue of beating around the bush of playing the race card. Let's face it...most mobile QBs that really rely on their running are black. Even guys like Vick or McNabb who've had lots of success just can't hold a candle to a true pocket passer. Now guys like Cam Newton or Tim Tebow may change that view a bit, but I think ultimately pocket passer is the way to go in football.

You are confusing college and pro. Id take (in college) Newton Tebow Vick RGIII and Young over Luck Leinart and Jimmy Clausen and their individual and respective teams successes would seem to indicate that to be true.

But mysterious Les baby apparently likes "Feet" more than "Brains and Arms."
Hopefully, "Mettsiah" will change all that.
