LSU college fishing team DQ'd at Rayburn

Anyone hear about this?
Happened this past weekend.
Guy I know fishes for La Tech, they won the tournament.
Wish we could have a running thread on how the LSU team is doing throughout the year.

We forgot to check in when we got back to the ramp. It was a mistake that I surely will not make again. We didn't break any rules and as the tournament director said it was just a "technicality". We had 9lbs and 13oz which put us in 5th place which would have meant a check and a spot in Regionals. It was a tough day for my partner and I but we learned a lot from Sunday. Like I said its a mistake that I'll never make again.
I will gladly keep the OB updated this year on all of LSU's tournaments.
P.S. Thanks to everyone who came to Shreveport to support us in the College Classic.

I was there. Arkansas just got lucky! But how did LSU-S only catch like two fish? Ya'll were basically fishing in their back yard!

I never have bass fished much, and not very good at it. I enjoy that white perch jigging and catfishing !!
