He's still a beast and will be a top 10-15 pick no doubt, but I'm not sure the combine helped him all that much.

John McLain agrees with you

Sophomore was slow and benched only 19 times.

That's phenomenal. I'm happy for him he's leaving but wish he would have stayed another year to really be appreciated for what he is.

It probably didn't help but Poe's career production is pretty bad and that's against crappy CUSA competition. Once people start looking at the tape again Brockers will be fine.

exactly

guys like poe, workout warriors, pop up every year

at the end of the day, the guy with the best tape goes first

Nothing like the quality of a Stanford education.

I am not sure how in the hell some of you are coming to these conclusions. He seems pretty intelligent to me. Maybe Brockers is just sharp in his own right.

But, but, but, that doesn't fit the world view around here. There has to be something wrong with Luck, a Stanford graduate. It can't be that Brockers is intelligent. Did anyone even congratulate Brockers, other than the OP?

Some have been foaming at the mouth in anticipation and can't wait to see what JJ scored so he can be dumped on. God forbid he scores well. If he scores higher than JL, this place would explode.

By the way, congratulations Brockers. Thanks for representing LSU well.

According to the Moscona show, the majority of teams in the nfl set their draft boards in February, and are only using the combine as an indicator of which guys need more review. For a guy like Brockers, the tape says it all. Consistently elite performances against elite competition on film are way more valuable to nfl teams then a d-tackle's 40 time.

This place is full of ignorant pussies. If you are one complain about this statement. Some people have congratulated him. Good for Michael.

I thought Luck was studying architecture.

I see it's already been mentioned.

I searched and found all of the results except the Wonderlic scores. Do you have a link to them?

Again, I'm not saying Poe should be drafted ahead of Brockers, but comments like this show how ignorant many are about the guy. I watched him play live several times this season, and several more times over the past couple of seasons. The dude is a stud. He isn't some goober that just came out of nowhere at the combine. He's been on top-30 big boards and first-round mock drafts for most of the season, and even before. His production and measurables compare favorably to Terrance Cody coming out of college (more tackles, TFL and sacks; better combine numbers in every category except vertical). He is a pure prototype 3-4 NG, a space eater. Not going to make a lot of tackles, but the LB behind him will. In truth, Poe and Brockers don't even play the same role/position, so it's hardly fair to compare their production.
