Kreuz market was terrible when I went

I would put Big Mike's in Houma above most of them

I only tried a few bites of things at each place in Lockheart. I thought Chisholm Trail was probably one of the better ones. Kreuz was all around terrible.

As a former resident of Memphis I have to disagree with Memphis being the best BBQ city. Kansas City deserves the title.

i disagree, but there are so many different styles of bbq that it is really subjective. i dont like the sauces in kc. my personal favorite style is eastern carolina, and my favorite bbq place is a small hole in the wall place in durham. memphis is my 2nd favorite place for bbq though and ive driven hours out of my way to eat in memphis.

Best BBQ I've had was in Carolina. Cooked whole hog, with a honey mustard and vinegar based sauce. Stuff was amazing.

Also, if anyone has some time to take off in May, and would like to spend it eating world class BBQ. Memphis in May BBQ Fest is 5/17-5/19.

Absolute best atmosphere this city has to offer.

I love Central BBQ in Memphis, and Memphis BBQ in general

Kreuz market was by far the worst I tried there Any list of BBQ in lockheart that doesn't include Black's and Chisholm Trail is completely worthless
