Flea control for pups under 12 weeks

What do you guys use, the vet want to give my pup Comfortis a pill. Anyone use it?

So why aren't you listening to your Vet's advice?
And how old exactly? Under 12 weeks could be anything from 5 days old to 11 weeks old. It all depends on their weight as far as flea medicine goes.
If they are still nursing off the mom, just treat her with with Advantage and it will eventually rub on the pups.
If it is an older puppy who is eating/drinking on its own by now, as long as it weighs enough, then anything will work (comfortis, advantage, frontline etc)

Listen to your Vet. I washed mine in Dawn regularly until they were old enough for the medicine.

My pup is 8 weeks and the instructions said 12 weeks or older is why I asked. My vet acted like no big deal, but he is a new vet to me and my pup. Thanks for the replies....
