The SEC thing breaks ties only. When 2 teams are equal record wise, the SEC team right now will carry the day, as they should. But to say that a 1 loss SEC team gets in over an undefeated team from a major conference would absolutely destroy the regular season.

Exactly, i can't beleive people are even debating this. If undefeated Oklahoma State was ranked ahead of Alabama, then no quesion Florida State would be. Maybe not in all the computers or soemthing is their SOS is bad, but certainly in the regular polls and final BCS.

And even then it's not a slam dunk. This thread is acting like Okie State was undefeated and Bama got in...Okie State lost to crap-arse Iowa State and still almost got in OVER Alabama. Any big name proven historical national stud like USC, Michigan, Notre Dame, Miami, Nebraska are all probably getting in over Alabama last year if they were in Okie State's one-loss shoes. Problem is you had historical duds in Okie State and Stanford.

SEC tards are in full force and effect here.
