UK's only loss this season was because Davis spent majority of the game on the bench in foul trouble.
please do not make the argument that davis is more valuable to kentucky than Trob is to kansas. please don't.

lol, and why is that Kansas fan?
Everything Kentucky does defensively is centered around Davis. They can overplay, deny passing lanes on ball reversal, and do basically anything they want to do defensively because they know they have Spiderman back there. This pressure on defense leads to turnovers and fast break points. Pick and rolls with Davis are also insanely effective because it's hard to hedge very much without Davis going for the oop. And the helpside defender can't help on Davis because the lob will just be a jump ball between Davis and that defender. The best way to defend that play is by putting a body on Davis while he is rolling, which opens up the drive for Kentucky's guards.
Davis is just so quick and athletic. He is insanely valuable on both ends of the floor. Now, Thomas has had a tougher conference schedule and is an outstanding player as well. Either of them would be fine choices for player of the year. But to act like there is no argument for Davis being more valuable is simply stupid.
