I think if LSU is patient with TJ he returns LSU basketball to consistent quality. His first year he had established players and did well with them. But his choice as coach made several players change their commitments and he is just now building a program that can compete.

Remember Coach K at Duke had a 38-47 record his first three years after inheriting a well-established program from Bill Foster (1978 NCAA runner-up to KY). Coach K did not get to the NCAA until his FOURTH season and finished 7th in the ACC in his third season.

I think if we give TJ three more years he will have us consistently in the NCAA.

Trent stays with NIT
Jordy says a new assistant will be hired with better recruiting contacts - no names
Recruiting is the lifeblood of any program and Trent knows that.

Ricardo Gathers actually lit a fire under Trent and LSU is on a tear - albeit lesser competition.

They need some size in this class and I have no idea where it's going to come from.

Hamilton is gone after next year and O'Bryant is likely headed to NBA next year too. Next year depth will be a concern behind these two guys with Warren and White being seniors.

Do you really think Coach K's teams looked as clueless as Trent's do? Really? This is glorified playground ball at times.
