not that midweek games matter but texas dropped their second of the season. for some reason i have disdain for texas baseball and enjoy whenever they lose.

I do, too and I know where it comes from. I sat in front of three drunk Texas fans in the first game of the 2009 CWS championship series.

They basically belittled everything LSU or Louisiana the entire game...until LSU went ahead.

Then they left before the game ended.....

My real dislike for Texas started at the college world series. The players took on the same attitude as their coach. I saw Augie shove a 10 yr old aside who wanted his Texas longhorn flag autographed. The rest of his players followed suit. When the LSU bus pulled into the parking lot, CPM took time to take photos and greet the fans. The LSU players likewise took on the attitude of Mainieri, signed autographs, took photos and appreciated the fact that we came! Made you proud of your team. The Texas fans looked on in envy!
