Swoopes will get a lot of comparison to Vince Young because of his size....but he reminds me A LOT more of Russell Shepard with his play than Vince Young. In other words, dynamic with the ball in his hands, terrible when he has to get rid of it

VY was never an elite passer, but he was a good one at the college level. Don't see Swoopes being the same. He can't throw at all. He has ~50% comp. pct. in high school...

When I say elite passer I don't just mean by statistics, I mean literally an elite level passer, i.e. a guy who can make al the throws, break down a defense, check to 2nd and 3rd options...VY could never do that, but teams respected his run ability so much VY really opened up the passing game with his mobility and he wasn't a bad passer, just not a great one either.

I'm not sure that LSU will want to add another project, which is what mid tier guys usually are. That's what they've kind of done the last two years.
