The spray I use doesn't kill the bugs. It's just supposed to make grass that they root around in very unappealing.
They're wild ducks.
Dylan, if you could see the subdivision sign, that means the ducks were in transit from my yard. Probably stuffed from everything they dug out and ate.
Spen, you really believe some colored paper will scare them off? Sounds iffy, but I guess I don't have anything to lose.

That is what USDA Wildlife Services uses for geese. It works for them.
They also have a motorized boat that they use to chase them off. Maybe you need a remote controlled car? Every time they come on your lawn, chase them off with the car.
