eta. To the guys who committed to LSU early not on this list, they're done as far as Rivals evaluation is concerned. They'll label them all 3 stars and call it a day.

They acted as if Cutrer would have made the list had they seen his film on time, as they were impressed. Acknowledged not seeing film on Boutte yet.

I hope we make a big splash on OOS d-lineman as it seems right now the d-lineman are a little down from years past. Last year was just a freak year for dl it was like most of them were interfused with steroids from birth.

Also I could see 6 LA guys going oos on that list.

these list are a piece of shite. saw I. wilson (katrina) kid rated about #140 - 150 range. texas site orangebloods put out texas top 100 update today and wilson isn't in top 100. just says these list are rushed together and are basically meaningless.

then number Rivals assigns doesn't really matter here, but it is interesting most of these kids don't want or are uninterested in LSU as a whole. They are in some order, the best LA has this year.

It's OK if they go to Texas/Bama, as long as we go to Texas/Bama and get a better player that the LA player. Or anywhere else in the region or country. We win that scenario every time.

We should just be spending recruiting resources on kids who are good, and honestly have a main interest in being part of LSU - wherever they live in the country. We really haven't tapped that. If Bama can win a NC with only 7 instate recruits, it should work for us as well....

I don't see it.

I just hope we find a way to use his speed.

Lawson seems to be a candidate move up. I was reading an article about him and that he just sent videos out in january. Makes me realize how off base these recruiting services must be. College coaches haven't even seen film on a lot of these instate guys, and in lawsons case he didn't even start playing dt til part way through last season.
