Some of you people take your butthurt to another level.
Earth to topwater: you aren't kidding anyone.
You are ,ad because you preferred jj over jlee their entire careers.
Just admit it, it's ok to be honest.

Now that someone decoded to give lee some credit/attention/notoriety you are mad about it.

It's rather childish of you if you would stop for a second and think about it.

Fwiw the majority of LSU fans are chumps I suppose.

Itll be ok pal.

This is so ridiculous. but what the frick...I'll try again.

First, those of us who "preferred" JJ over JL at no point ever suggested he was some world beater. Nearly all of us went out of our way to declare that we felt both were mediocre at best, but felt that JJ's upside gave him a slight lead. That's as far as any lovefest for Jefferson EVER went. Ever.

Second, those of us that dug our heels in mostly seemed to do so in August, when those "fans" that had been droning on for nearly two full seasons about how they wanted JJ replaced with Lee seemed to jizz in their pants at the news that Jefferson had been implicated in the fight at Shady's. Long before one tiny piece of evidence came out, many "fans" were all too happy to throw him under the bus for the sole purpose of forcing Miles' hand and getting a player that had not entertained them enough replaced. frick whether or not he was actually involved...get him from under center!!! Given that it DID matter to me, I dug in my heels and defended him against this stupid assault from the program's own fans. Funniest thing about this group, after droning on for weeks about how all they wanted was justice, they not surprisingly went apeshit as soon as Miles' reinstated Jefferson when the charges were dropped suggesting he shouldn't be near the program.

Third, I and others dug in even further when you started having our "fans" boo Jefferson upon his return. Surprisingly, overhearing the deluge of racial slurs thrown at him from the stands did little to fix the stereotype of what was driving some of the hate for far too many. Not all, of course and no one ever said that it was. but to deny that it was a driving force for many is akin to sticking one's head in the sand.

The worst part of this entire ordeal is that it's fans like you that have caused this reaction from the likes of me. I love Lee! I always have! I've never once said a truly negative thing about the kid. The maddest I've ever been at Miles was during the 2008 season when he and Crowton seemed hellbent on mindfricking the kid by continually putting him in horrible situations over and over again. I never blamed Lee for any of that, and the closest I've ever been to getting into an actual fight in Tiger stadium was the night one of our "fans" felt the need to to fricking CHEER when Lee got hurt because it meant miles had to bring in Jefferson! Shall I let you guess who that frick head has been cheering for the last 2 years??

Some of us really did not care which guy played...really. Had Miles gone with Lee from 2008 on and we'd have had the same level of success over that time period as we had, I would not have cared one fricking bit! What kind of an imbecile would you have had to be to complain about the success LSU has had over that time period because you weren't happy with the QB who was playing?!? I'm not Lee's Dad, or his girlfriend or his fricking agent. Same thing for Jefferson. I never once had a dog in the fight, other than to stand up for one of our players that was being dragged through the mud. I pull for the name on the side of the helmet more than the one on the back of the jersey.

Orly? Do we need to post the threads comparing him to Tebow? Or prior to his problems at Shadys that were highlighting his chances at being the winningest QB in LSU history?

True

JJ's upside

Is this the part facing the sky when he was sacked? Otherwise, I never saw it. If there was any there, then Crowton and Krags failed to develop it.

Some might say that this was way too important to most of you.

As a general rule, the JJ supporters hated LSU fans for "whining" about inept coaching, and made it a point to tell everyone about how both QBs sucked.

As a general rule, the JL supporters insisted that both QBs could do well in a better-coached system, but insisted that the coaching staff was screwing over the whole team by dismantling the pro style passing attack we had. JL become a lightning rod to this group (myself included), because he became a symbol for all the petty bullshite Coach Miles engaged in to promote favoritism of one player over what was best for the team.

Team JJ will typically insist that fans shouldn't question the coaching staff, talk about how much they hate the LSU fanbase, talk about how racist Louisiana is, etc.

Team JL will typically express sorrow over all the shite LSU players have had to endure for the last 3 seasons due to the prideful and stubborn agenda of Coach Miles ... none more than JL. But here's the thing--if Miles did it to JL, he can and WILL continue to do it to other players as well. The program itself is rotten.

This thing doesn't end with the graduation of JL & JJ, as much as some want to pretend that it does.
