I can't remember the kids name but just heard on bill king that he is rocking LSU gear everyday and talking about how he loved it down in BR..I thought we had moved on from him..anybody have any info?

Davonte Neal
Not sure if it is just for attention or not.
His recruiting from us kind of surprised me because we were onto him early and seemed like it died away. He has kept his recruitment very quiet so who knows. Absolutely nothing states that he has interest in LSU though. I don't think he ever made a visit to LSU unless it was an unofficial and kept VERY secret for whatever reason

Its Davonte Neal and he goes to my old HS. I work with a lot of the baseball players there and I even posted here last year telling you guys he was wearing an LSU shirt at one of the baseball games. I have no idea if he is going to attend LSU but I can tell you for a fact he does wear LSU gear, I have seen it, and he is the real deal! We would be lucky to have him but I have heard that he is leaning towards tOSU. Ill ask some of the kids at Chaparral if they know anything

Why would he waste an official visit on a school 1.5 hours away? I REALLY hope he doesn't go there....I hate them more than any other school.

One thing that AZ has going for them is they just hired our HS coach to their staff.
I just read that he is making his Arizona visit an unofficial one and is now adding Chokelahoma!

I wonder if tOSU will be able to "make room" for him!![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconrotflmao.gif)

Davonte’ Neal’s recruiting took a big turn last week when Oklahoma suddenly got in the picture and Ohio State coach Urban Meyer had an impressive in-home visit with the Arizona Republic’s top 2012 football recruit.
Oklahoma got in the door with the Scottsdale Chaparral receiver/cornerback a day after former University of Arizona recruiting coordinator Tim Kish got hired. According to Luke Neal, Davonte’s dad, Kish popped in Davonte’s junior highlight tape for coach Bob Stoops, who told him, ‘We can’t get this guy.’

The two-time Gatorade Arizona Player of the Year is keeping himself open and will use much of this week to let all of the recruiting sink in. But it appears the top schools in the hunt for Neal are Notre Dame and Ohio State.
On Wednesday, ESPN will shadow Neal at his home and at school, according to Luke. ESPN will also report on Tempe Corona del Sol offensive tackle Andrus Peat’s college decision that day. Peat is not returning messages.
Neal, 5-foot-10, 175 pounds, a two-time Gatorade Arizona Football Player of the Year, has moved up to the No.1 athlete prospect in the country and No.8 overall in the latest ESPNU 150 rankings for class of 2012. Peat, 6-7, 305, is right behind at No.9 overall.
I wonder if tOSU will be able to "make room" for him!
