The two worst kind of posts - those that make pointless threads and those that encourage the first.
You both know that nothing you say is going to effect the manner in which people post on this board, right? Even, hypothetically, if it did, you'd never know - they just wouldn't post something. This is the recruiting board, not the bitching about the way other people react to bad news or bad rumors board.

Jesus, the rantards have taken over this board. This was once a sanctuary for level headed fans to talk about the possible future of LSU football. Now, every other post is about Miles and our coaches. February 1st cannot get here soon enough.

I agree w/ you. People are fricking idiots. All that matters is performance on Saturday's. Treating an incoming group of recruits as "a class," as in, "LSU's 2011 class is awesome," etc., is stupid. You evaluate the entire roster, the depth at the positions, and how the incoming players compliment the current roster. The recruiting season is not an art form, something to be appreciated for "closing strong." Dumb. Is a good player who committed long ago, and honors his commitment and signs on NSD, somehow worth less than a recruit who decides on NSD to sign w/ LSU? LSU is bringing in some big linemen and linebackers, along w/ some DBs, and WR's, and long snapper. Nothing wrong with "this class," and nothing will be wrong w/ the roster for next season.
