i would not say he was a failure at michigan and seton hall. he was above the average. go look up his records online. i can tell you from coaching it takes years on how to become sucessful in basketball. he might not have had the best talent. you can't win the kentuck derby with a mule. maybe he has figured out a system that works for him now. he is still young in coaching age. you do know that john wooden lost his first 5 years at ucla and coach k at duke the same thing. they both have said by todays standards that they would have been fired now days. sometimes it takes time in the field of coaching to perfect your system and how to deal with things. be patient with trent. he's on the right track.
