The bestthing Miles could do is let Mett sling it this year and next. It kills that negative re recruiting argument and actually makes a great statement that LSU will desgin the offense around the talent on the field.
Most recruits would love to hear that.

all CLM needs to do is point out to him how balanced the offense was with Russell and Flynn and would have remained before RP got kicked off and left us with 2 subpar QB's. Then CLM was to subborn to let Mett play this yr

According to this blog GA seems to think he's theirs IF the school accepts his JUCO transcript. Seems like that may be an issue (except for OM!?) 
Shea said there was an InHome scheduled for Thursday but I've seen nothing to confirm it or commentary from it. Not seeing anything suggesting LSU is well placed on this one, but for all the reasons previously discussed seems like we would be a great choice for him.
