Searched and didn't see anything on it.

Through two weeks, seems pretty decent. David Navarro is host and not bad.

Each week they do one quick competition early in the show. That winner gets to pick which person he gets to tattoo for the elimination competition.

The elimination competition is a full tattoo. The artists consult the models and generally have 6 hours the next day to do the full tattoo.

Two things I like about the show:

1) The artistic element.
2) 1 hour and 2 competitions doesnt leave much time for bullshite drama, like a lot of the Top Chef-like shows.

It comes on right after Face Off on the SciFi network. Pretty decent 2 hours of reality shows that aren't scripted dramas.

I'm digging it, don't have any tattoos myself and this show is making me scared to ever get one. These are supposed to be some of the best in the country and I've seen some shitty work from a few of them. Probably just because they're being rushed and doing styles they're not comfortable with though.

And as for the people on the show getting the tats, you've got to be insane to let someone tattoo you who is under a time limit and rushing to get it done, no way would I do that.

I like it. I have always been interested in tattoo art. I appreciate the art side of the designs they have to come up with. Better than NY Ink because it's 1/3 of the drama.

Well there have been at least 3 people who left with unfinished tattoos. I wonder if they are guaranteed to have it finished after filming.

My guess is they get their tattoos free, and are on national television, so they jump at the chance.

I'm sure there are hundreds of amazing tattoo artists. How they narrow down to a dozen or so is anybody's guess.

That full back shield tribal tattoo that was done in under 6 hours was amazing.

It's clear this is not the case after watching the first two episodes.

The fat guy/gal who wanted with tribal with that skin condition looked gross. His leg looked like it was coated with inflamed poison ivy.

I am sure the artist was like there is no way in Hell I am going to tattoo you fatty.

Yeah, there were health risks with slowed healing time also. Whoever is screening the tattoo-ees is doing a shite job.

And they didn't have any substitutes? That part might have been scripted.
