Did we destroy a year's worth of good will with recruits in the Alabama game?

Not trying to flame but after reading some of the posts and thinking about it, I do believe that the coaching in that game absolutely impacted our ability to close this year and we will wait and have to see what happens next year.... I think we may be able to get a sense of the damage early...will we get a handful or more to commit in the spring like the past two years - I hope this inability to close on top recruits is just a function of not getting on these kids early enough

I would think the fans reaction to Landon Collins and Jordan Jefferson played a much bigger role. LSU fans were disgusting on twitter and facebook. To 17 year olds perception is reality.

Did it stop Ohio St. and OU the times they went to the NC and got mud stomped. Don't be silly LSU fans are the biggest problem.

Didn't seem to matter for the 2010 class.

since there has been no mass exodus with commits I would have to think not. LC made his choice two years ago and Keil, frankly, is a flake that blows with the prevailing wind. I really think some people who post were born with the "sky is falling" syndrome. 1-9-12 was an anomaly and any recruit worth his salt would know this. IMHO, 13-1 against that schedule clearly states our case.

yeah....that's the downside to being in the bcs. we will be fine....and we will be just as good next year.

One has to question our staff's preparation and decision making ability after watching that debacle. We seemed very ill prepared, compared to other games with long lead times.
