I hate the move, but there was nothing they could do. Everything I read had it as a condition of the sale. Didn't matter whether it was Crane or not.
I still don't understand why they couldn't have moved the Dbacks, who I believe were willing to make the switch, and then moved the Astros to the NL West.
I don't think the name will change. I just think it's a matter of the owner being completely open to change if there are good enough reasons. I think there would be considerable resistance to changing the name. On the bright side, you can finally bring food and water into the stadium.

I Still don't understand why baseball didn't just move the Brewers to the AL Central and the Royals to the AL West. The Brewers were an AL team for almost 30 years and have a lot more history there than they do in the NL.
